The Fantasy Art of Oliver Frey is a HARDBACK book that covers the history of the man behind the art - take a look into Oli's younger days and how he started his craft.
The book is split into chapters grouping in art from monsters and aliens to heroes and villains. If you were a games player of the 80s and 90s, there will be a great deal of artwork in this book that you will recognise that will kick in the nostalgic memories - how about the issue 1 artwork of Crash magazine in the image below for starters!

All the memorable art, and much, much more. Prolific, talented, and sorely missed.
This is an excellent "memory lane" item. The images are well replicated and the accompanying text is well written and informative.
The Fantasy Art of Oliver Frey is a really well produced book. I bought it because I loved his Zzap!64 magazine art but I was pleased that it included so much more of his artwork. The background text information is also good. This collection of his artwork is just a great thing to have.
For anyone that grew up with magazines like Crash or Zzap64, this book is a great reminisce of the artwork and covers that were done by Oliver Frey. Some great stories, anecdotes, and a massive overload of great artwork. I can’t recommend it enough.
Next best thing to Doc’s DeLorean time machine! Highly recommended.
