The story of the ZX Spectrum in pixels VOLUME 2 is 236 pages in length and is again a further visual journey charting the best games on the ZX Spectrum from 1982 on wards until the early 90s. Each spread contains a large iconic image of the game and is accompanied by artwork from the inlay, the game's advertisement where available and further game screens showing the loading screen, menu etc.

We have also interviewed 11 more programmers, artists and musicians to get their view on the Spectrum and how it helped launch their careers into gaming including Jas Austin (Nemesis The Warlock) and Ian Oliver (3D Starstrike).

An excellent sequel. Tons more games that’ll have you diving for the Spectrum or breaking out the ZX Next or N-GO.

Great Book

Very enjoyable book. First part being picture based which is to be expected from the title. Second the part that I really wanted and takes this book into its own is interviews where you get a great insight from the people that made the games. Great!

The Story of the ZX Spectrum in pixels Vol 2

A beautifully presented book and a joy to read through and reminisce about the halcyon days of 8-bit computer gaming on the good ol' Speccy. I hope that a re-print of Vol 1 will be funded through Kickstarter as i would love to add that to my collection too. Damian Webber
