As a teenager, I waited with bated breath each month for the latest edition of Crash Magazine. I would then spend the next month reading it from cover to cover, and then going through it again. It was a golden era in the Game industry and Crash was the Daddy. I read other magazines but there was only one Crash.
I subscribed to the new Crash, immediately, having purchased and loved the Annuals. Having also pledged for a KS2 Spectrum Next, this was perfect. The magazine is amazing, it reads just as well as it ever did. It is something to read cover to cover and read again. The excitement of waiting for the next edition to drop take me back.
The printed edition is first class ( as every with Retro Fusion Products), and the contents are bang on. Reviewing games that were missed or came out after Crash. Look backs and my favorite, investigations into Games that didn't appear despite being advertised for months, eg the Orginal Version of Elites Scooby Doo, or the infamous ***** Meets the Tax Man. Reviews of new games, and games for the Spectum next. All this plus Lloyd is back!!
If you read Crash back in the day and have not picked this up. There is something missing in your life ? An A5 sized gap, that can easily be filled.
A Crash Smash.
